Vacancy Details
We require an apprentice toolmaker to serve a 3 year apprenticeship to at least NVQ3 level with opportunities to go beyond.
Agemaspark is a precision toolmaking company and the successful candidate will be expected to learn all aspects of our trade, which will include 3D Metal Printing, CNC Milling , CNC turning, EDM wire erosion, EDM Solid spark erosion, Cylindrical Grinding & surface grinding plus many more specialities.
There will be CAD & CAM programming involved as well as elements of design work.
They will be expected to work alongside a very skilled work force in a very varied areas of manufacturing from Aerospace both civil & military
Engines, power generation engines, Oil & Gas production components
Plastic injections mould tooling and many more.
Work wear will be provided to the successful candidate. They need to be enthusiastic and willing to work with in a very exceptional work force to a very high standard.
Personal Qualities
The need to turn up to work on time, be able to work within a team, respectful to their colleagues and managers. Truthful and honest at all times, be able to get to & from work without issues.
Non-smokers, good personal hygiene.
