Luke Ward

Luke joined Agemaspark as an Apprentice Toolmaker in January 2018, aged 20, he studied for an NVQ level 3 Mechanical Engineering at Doncaster College. He is studied part time via day release which means he spent 1 day a week at college and 4 days a week in the workplace.

Luke said “I wanted an apprenticeship so I could work and learn at the same time and apply what I have learnt to the workplace.”

Luke went to Outwood Academy and studied Design and Technology, linking to his apprenticeship at Agemaspark, he has also done a week of plumbing during his time at college. He also expressed an interest in taking his studies further with an engineering degree.
