Sinem Akkaya

Sinem joined Agemaspark in 2025 as our first female apprentice, beginning an apprenticeship journey that will lead to a Level 6-degree apprenticeship in Mechanical Manufacture, and BEng qualification.

Her passion for engineering developed at Doncaster UTC, where she studied Engineering and Product Design, achieving top grades in her Level 3 Engineering Diploma. She also gained early experience of Agemaspark through work experience and the UTC mentoring programme, where she was mentored by our Managing Director, Paul Stockhill.

Sinem’s academic success and enthusiasm for engineering provide a strong foundation for her apprenticeship, and she is already making a positive impact as she develops her skills within our precision engineering environment.
